Website Privacy Policy

How Virtus Financial Partners collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to this website.

Effective Date: April 20, 2026

This Website Privacy Policy describes how Virtus Financial Partners, LLC ("Virtus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about visitors to our website at www.virtusfinancialpartners.com (the "Site").

This policy applies only to information collected through the Site. If you are a Virtus client, the handling of your nonpublic personal information in the course of the advisory relationship is governed by our separate Privacy Notice (Regulation S-P), available on our Disclosures page.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily submit through the Site, including contact form submissions (name, email, phone, and any message content) when you use the "Start a Conversation" form on our homepage, and document uploads (files and any accompanying information) when you use our Secure Upload service.

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically logs certain technical information, including IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages visited and time spent on each, and the referring website. This information is used for basic security, troubleshooting, and operational purposes.

The Site uses only essential functional cookies required for the Site to operate correctly (placed by our hosting platform, Webflow). We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking tools.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form; receive and securely store documents you send through our Secure Upload service; maintain the security, integrity, and operation of the Site; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share your information only as described in this section.

We use the following third-party services to operate the Site: JotForm processes submissions from our "Start a Conversation" form — form data is transmitted to us by email and stored in JotForm; Box.com stores documents uploaded through our Secure Upload service — uploaded files are retained within the client's secure file in our Box environment; and Webflow hosts and serves the Site. Each of these service providers is bound to use your information only as needed to provide the specific service to us.

The Site includes links to third-party services our clients use, including Black Diamond, Charles Schwab, and eMoney. When you click these links, you leave our Site and are subject to the privacy policies of those services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to respond to regulators with jurisdiction over our business.

4. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained in JotForm and in our email system as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for recordkeeping purposes. Documents uploaded through Secure Upload are retained indefinitely in the client's secure Box file unless deletion is requested or required by law. Automatically logged technical information is retained by Webflow per its standard retention practices.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights under applicable state privacy laws, which may include the right to know what personal information we have collected about you; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising); and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below. We will verify your identity before responding to any request.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide the rights listed above. We do not "sell" personal information as defined by those laws.

6. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. You submit information at your own risk.

8. International Visitors

The Site is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy with a new "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
